HAPPY HALLOWEEN! AND HIP HOP HANGOVER TOO!
Yep! It's Friday, the day after HIP HOP THURSDAY! Are you hungover? If you have no idea what I'm talking about, you HAVE to go check out this thread. Brought to you by Unity Stamp Co.I, unfortunately, am not hungover. I didn't get to HIP HOP much yesterday. :(

So here's my card for Hangover Friday. I used Unity's Move Mountains single and some CTMH CS and DP.

So are you all pumped for Halloween? I WAS. We had plans to take our son trick or treating then dress up and go out for a little birthday celebration and I was SO excited until Kolby called and said we had to go over the mountain, so he could go work for the weekend! Grrrr......I'm SO bummed! Oh well, though. I get to see my family, so I guess that is a plus!

Sorry I'm so late on this post. I've had a crazy morning/afternoon! Hope everyone is having a great day.

So this Wednesday's Unity challenge is to do a card with a "HOPE" theme. We had to use ribbon, lots of pink, and something that starts with the letter ~m~ for mammogram. Also, Unity is sponsoring Card Positioning System's (CPS) sketch this week, so I used that sketch.For this card I used Unity's Floral Fantastical set. Isn't this butterfly so pretty? I like it a lot. I used Copics to color the butterfly and I stamped it in Archival Black onto PTI Stamper's Select White CS. I keep forgetting the name of the green CS I used and for the base I used PTI Stamper's Select again and ran it through my Divine Swirls CB Embossing Folder. The ribbon is from Pebbles Inc. Now you may be wondering where the ~m~ part is. Well....teehee....I used Tombow's Mono Multi adhesive! Do you think that counts? :D Probably not, but I couldn't come up with anything! I had kind of a cruddy weekend, but I hope everyone else's was great! So I have been DROWNED in paper work this morning, so I haven't had time to do ANY stamping! So as I'm going through my daily readings of blogs look at what I come across! Click HERE to go to Bakerella's blog! She has a post up for Pumpkin Pecan Chocolate Chip Cookies with Maple Brown Butter Frosting! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?! I just gained 20 pounds looking at the recipe! Some things I love:
1) Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies
2) Pecan ANYTHING
3) Maple ANYTHING...even the tree...oh how I love a maple tree!
4) Brown Butter Frosting....once again....ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?!

Oh my my my...yummilicious! I think I'm going to give the recipe a whirl........

• HiP hOp HaNgOvEr FrIdAy(and cards from Thursday)

....are you hungover? If not, it's probably because YOU DIDN'T COME TO HIP-HOP THURSDAY! It was soo much fun. I always have fun with the Unity peeps! So here is my card for HIP HOP HANGOVER FRIDAY! If you want to hang out and chat with Unity peeps go to this thread.

For this card I did a gate-fold card. I used Beate's Tutorial on SCS. It was so much fun to do! I just got my Scor-Pal in the mail, yesterday, so I decided to do something with it! If you don't have one, I think you should get one. They are {heavenly}. So I used Taffy CS for the base and I just forgot what color the green is in the Spring Harmony Colors.......anywho....I used my Cricut to cut the main circle and I stamped the image from Unity's Oct. Kit of the Month....isn't it fab? It's stamped in Archival Black on Papertrey Ink Stamper's Select White and I colored the image in with copics and I added some ric-rac and baubles at the end of the card!

I didn't post yesterday so here are my cards from the Hip-Hop Thursday Challenges:



This challenge was to make a stripey card. I had some Crate Paper DP that is stripey, so I stamped some images from the Giggle Grove set on it. After I cut them out, I realized it didn't look to stripey.....hence the stripey ribbon. :D For this card I used Baby Pink CS and Papertrey Ink Stamper's Select White. As I mentioned before, the images are stamped on Crate Paper DP....I think it is called the Caitlin Collection?









The other challenge was to make a pink card. Once again, mine isn't that pink, but I think you get the effect? :D If you can't tell I am really into square cards right now. I make them 5 1/2 x 5 1/2. This card is pretty basic....I used Black CS and Stamper's Select White and the pink DP is from the same collection of Crate Paper. The image is from Unity's Growing in Unity set. I LOVE this tree! So I think that is it for this card....... I had so much fun at Hip-Hop. If you haven't participated yet, you NEED to! It's every Thursday and starts at 10:00 a.m. Central time and is in the Unity forum.

Happy Hump Day everyone! Gosh I can't believe this week is flying by like it is! No stamping, yet for me. :( I'm hoping to get some done in the morning before HIP-HOP! Are you ready?

Shut up, it's true! There now is a hip-hop hangover! We all have so much fun at hip-hop and CAN'T get enough of it, so on Friday's we have a chillax day! Here is my card for the hangover!
So for this card I busted out the Cupcakes A'La Yummy set. Isn't it soooo yummilicious? I colored the images w/ me Copics and stamped them on PTI Stamper's Select White CS. The other CS used is Clover Meadow and Orange. I used K&Co. Glitter DP for the bases of the images and ran them through my nesties. The ribbon you see if from Pebbles Inc. So there you have it!

Ok...I know I'm late on this, but yesterday was Hip-Hop Thursday! For once, I completed both of the challenges that were given! The first challenge was to do a KID CARD. Here is mine-----
Ok..so it's not the best.....I don't know why, but on Thursdays I lose all my mojo. I think it's just the excitement of Hip-Hop! For this card I used PTI Stamper's Select White for the base and to stamp the image from Unity's Diva-Lish set. I don't know if you can tell, but I also added some Martha Steward glitter (love this stuff) to her tiara. I ran the base through my Divine Swirls Embossing Folder. I also used Watermelon and Black CS. I used Copics to color the little diva and I stamped the image and sentiment in Archival Black! That just reminded me I need to order some different ink! I use CTMH Archival Black and it works good, just not with Copics. Oh! Like my little additions I added into the picture? TeeHee....it's silly, I know.


So the next challenge was to do a card and use flowers. I immediately knew I was going to use Unity's Floral Fantastical set for this one! It was one of my first sets and YESTERDAY was my first time to ink it up! Can you believe that?! So for this card I used Hydrangea, Watermelon, Ocean, and PTI Stamper's Select White CS and also some DP from the Whoops-a-Daisy Collection. I ran the base through my Bloomin' Dots Embossing Folder and I colored the image with my Copics! I added some Primas and Pebbles Inc. Ribbon to finish the card off!

So that is all for right now...I will return later with some Bellas...I have been slacking heavily in the Bella department, so I need to figure somethin' out! :D Have a great Friday!

The story:
I've always {LOVED} kupcakes and koffee, and just became addicted to krafts. I thought my other heading/address wasn't very creative, so I knew I had to come up with something else. Recently, I haven't been stamping/scrapbooking much, and I HATE not having something to post everyday. So I decided....why not start posting about 2 other things (besides family and friends :D) that I CANNOT live without ----kupcakes and koffee? So I decided to go for it. I am not usually....what's the word? adaptable? to change, so at first this might be a little challenging for me, but I can't wait to see how it turns out! Let me know what you think!

• Unity Wednesday Challenge #8

Happy Hump Day! :D
Today is Unity's Wednesday challenge. I loooove Wednesday challenges. They get me all fired up for Hip-Hop Thursday! :D

The challenge this Wednesday is to make a masculine card. I know, mine isn't very masculine, but it's for a VERY special someone who is.... :D I don't really like how the card turned out, so I think I'm off to try and create another one before my DS wakes up from his nap! TFL!

Happy Monday, everyone!
Usually, I hate Mondays, but today has surprisingly been pretty good! I am soooo enjoying the cold weather and the snow. I know, most people think I am crazy, but what can I say? I've grown up around it!

For you, today, I have a card that I made in a jiffy. I used Unity Stamp Co. Just Be -Single and colored it in with Chocolate Chip Ink from SU! I stamped it onto Crate Paper DP. I forgot what the name of the collection is. For the strips I used Bamboo CS for the base then cut out strips from the same Crate Paper collection and ran them through my Cuttlebug, using the Divine Swirls embossing folder. You can't tell, but the 1st and last strips are raised with foam dots from SU! (what are they called?) The base of the card is Chocolate Chip CS and the ribbon that is ran through is Pebbles Inc. So that is all for you today. Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their Monday.

I am SO glad it finally decided to snow here! I {HEART} the snow sooo much! Here is a picture of what it looks like at my house today. This morning we measured 10 inches on our yard! Isn't it fantastic! We are supposed to get more snow all through tonight and tomorrow! I am so freakin' excited!

I don't have any cards/layouts to show you yet. I haven't had much time to stamp. I've been cleaning like a mad man! My house is sooo purty now! Hopefully I will get some stamping time in during naptime!

HAPPY HIP-HOP THURSDAY! I love HIP-HOPPING! If you don't know what I'm talking about...you need to go to the Unity forum on SCS right away! It is soo much fun! They give away hundreds of dollars in prizes!!!!

So, yesterday was Unity Challenge Wednesday. I made this card for the challenge. The challenge was to do a non-standard card (4 1/4"x5 1/2"). So, as you can see, I made a square card. Never done a square card before, and it was so much fun! LOVE what I did with the COPICS? I am getting to know my COPICS pretty well and I have to say....they are UH-MAZING! The stamp I used is from Unity's Sept. Kit of the Month...don't you {HEART} it?!?! I do! :D
And this card is for a Hip-Hop challenge. The challenge is to use sewing on your card. This is the first card I've stitched and I am okay w/ how it turned out! Not sure about stitching yet......and AGAIN.....I used my wonderful, amazing, genius COPICS!

This was my first ever cupcake challenge to participate in. I don't know why I haven't before, but I just decided you gotta start somewhere! So for this card I used The Cat's Pajamas' Smells Like Cake set. I think these penguins are soooo cute! :D And now I have Nestabilities, so my cards are going to be 1,000 times better looking! So that is it for right now. Stay tuned for more TCP, since it's TCP Tuesday! Oh! I have more Copics coming!!!! They should be here this morning!!!

I really have been stamping ( you will soon see)....I just haven't had much time to take pictures and upload and do a blog on everything....so hold on tight....it's another long post....I promise NOT to do this ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!

So this the card I made for Bella Sketch Challenge #46. At the time, I was feeling like poo, so I decided this would be a good image to use! One of my friends is actually sick this week, so I figured I could get some good use out of it. Oops! I just noticed the senty is a little crooked! Whops!

And this is a card I actually did for a Unity Wednesday Challenge, but I forgot to upload and submit it. Oops! I don't know where my brain has been. Isn't this a cool stamp. It is called Hullabaloo....There, obviously, are so many things you could probably do with this stamp, but I just decided to keep it simple! I just noticed I used a lot of embellies too! Hope it's not too much???

And here is another bella. Bella Sketch Challenge #47. I used Cosmobella for this one and cut the ovals out using my Cricut. I LOVE that machine! The scalloped oval you see behind the image is actually a regular oval cut out then I used my corner rounder to make it looked scalloped. I don't have the oval Nesties, yet, but I DID JUST GET MY FIRST SET OF NESTABILITIES and I {HEART} them so much!!! They are so much easier than using a corner rounder!!!!


THIS STINKIN' CARD took me FOREVER!!!! And I'm not too sure about the outcome. It didn't turn out how I had planned, but I think it will still do! I used the Spooky Nights stamp set from CTMH. I, first, stamped the house and the tree then colored them in with my COPICS which I {HEART} so much! Then I glued that to my card and cut out a piece of orange CS the same size as my card ( 4 1/4" x 5 1/2") I used my Cricut and cut the square out to make a frame. Then I used 3-D Foam Squares and placed the frame over the house. I ,then, stamped the pumpkin and the moon and glued them to the frame. I stamped the spider web and used Stickles (can you see it?) to sort of make the spider web "pop out." Last I stamped the Clear Stamps sentiment on the card and used Stickles on it as well.



Finally, here is a card I made for the Bella Sketch Challenge #48! I am LOVING the christmas {STAMPS}! Go check them out if you haven't already. http://www.stampingbella.com For this card I used Gifty tree and my favorite "just for you" sentiment. It's the only sentiment I have that fits in my circle punch, so I rolled with it. I don't really like the baubles on the sides, but I didn't have anything else to use.....that I could think of........I LOVE CHRISTMAS and am SO, mentally, ready for it!
