• Please do!

....Wake me when it's Christmas, that is! I am so ready for Christmas, but soooo tired! So, please, just wake me when it gets here! :D

As you can tell, I finally made it down to my stamp room! And I FINALLY got to ink up a stamp set from My Favorite Things! Isn't it so cute?! The stamp set is called Merry Christmas and I stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I used DP from SU!'s Frosty Day packet! I used Ripe Avocado, Chocolate Chip, and Tangerine Tango Cs. The image is stamped on PTI Stamper's Select White! I ran the base through the Textile Texture Embossing Folder and mounted the images with Dimensional Adhesives!

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! Have a great rest of the weekend! Monday I will be gone for a doctor's appointment! I will post ultrasound pics of the little peanut when I get back!

• BeLlA sKeTcH cHaLlEnGeS 54 & 55!

Happy Thursday everyone! And HIP-HOP to the Unity peeps! If you don't know what Unity or Hip-Hop is...go HERE

So today I have last week's Bella Sketch Challenge (#54) and this week's 55th sketch challenge!

The first one is #54. For this card I used Clover Meadow and Sunny Yellow CS. The image is Tinkerbella and is stamped on PTI Stamper's Select White and colored with Copics. The glitter on the wings is Martha Stewart.

My card for this week's sketch challenge is probably a favorite right now. I used Emmybella for the image and stamped her in Archival Black and colored her with Copics. She's stamped on PTI Stamper's Select White. The sentiment is from MFT's E-Girl set and is also stamped in Archival Black onto SSW. I used Pale Plum, Certainly Celery, and Pretty in Pink CS. The DP is Basic Grey Euphoria. The ribbon is from Pebbles Inc.

So that is all for right now. Stay tuned for some Hip Hop Unity Challenges!!!!

• This is what I get, for not posting all week! LONG POST!

So I did stamp this week, I was just too lazy to post it! So here goes!

Last week I did a week long of Unity on my blog. I made these cards also, but was going to post them on Friday....obviously that didn't happen! The first card is for Bella Sketch Challenge #54 and the other card is for Bella's Favorite Stamper Challenge #1. We had to CASE one of Vicki's (giffysk8) cards from her gallery!

So for this week: here is Bella Sketch Challenge #54 and some Papertrey Ink cards. I used Amber's sketch on the owl one. I just got these stamps in, so I was very excited to use them!

Which brings us to today.......this is my card for Hip Hop Hangover Friday! I did get to Hip Hop for just a few minutes last night and had total fun doing so! If you didn't get to Hip Hop yesterday, be sure and take a look at all the Unity DT goodies they have on their blogs! They did so amazing this week!

So that is all for this week! I am off to Big Piney, yet again......roping tonight! Will try to get pictures! Toodles!

•Growing in Unity•Day by Day•All Week Long•Day Three

Day tres, baby, yeah! *said in Austin Powers lingo* :D It's my 3rd day of Unity all week long! I'm having such a great time with this! Here is the card I made for today!
This card is inspired by the Unity's Challenge Wednesday. The challenge is an inspiration challenge. Here's the inspiration.

So I didn't really follow anything, other than I was inspired to use a butterfly. Isn't it so prettiful? It's from Unity's Growing in Unity set. So basically I just ran Red Bazzill CS through my Divine Swirls Cuttlebug embossing folder, but only on the top and bottom. Then I stamped the butterfly and the decoration behind it, with Archival Black ink. Then I glued that part to black CS. I added some ribbon that I got from my Bella sistah, LeAnne, and voila! It's done! Oh! I used the scalloped edge punch on the sides, too!

A couple of other things......ARE YOU COMING TO HIP HOP, TOMORROW? Hip Hop, in case you don't know, is the biggest event of the week! It takes place in the Unity forum on SCS and starts at 10:00 a.m. Central Time and goes until MIDNIGHT! Unity gives away over $300 worth of prizes! It is such a blast! There's a blog hop that starts at Angela's blog at 10:00 a.m. and tons and tons of fun! PLUS, if you are a BRAND NEW customer and order $25 or more, tomorrow, you get a Growing in Unity Tree stamp! Here's an example of what the stamp looks like! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!?! Angela is amazing!

ETA: I forgot to tell you.....I GET TO GIVE AWAY A FREE SINGLE TOMORROW AT HIP HOP TO SOMEONE THAT HAS BEEN COMMENTING ON MY "GROWING IN UNITY" POSTS! BE SURE TO STOP BY TO SEE IF IT'S YOU!

Speaking of Angela and her blog.....be sure to check her blog out each week. She added an icon in the top left corner, showing the person that is showing Unity all week long on their blog.

So I hope everyone is having a GREAT Wednesday! Be sure to check back tomorrow for Day four and some HIP HOP creations.

**DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE COPIC GIVE AWAY! COMMENT ABOVE BY NOON (MDT) FRIDAY****

•Growing in Unity, Day by Day, All Week Long! Day Two

Happy Election Day! Did you vote, yet? I didn't! I left my wallet at my mom's house, with my i.d. tucked snugged inside and I haven't registered yet! UGH! I've been kicking myself all day long!

Onto more important things....today is Day 2 of my all week long Unity posting. Here's my card!
For this card I used Unity's Oct. KOM. Isn't this house so cozy looking? I used Amber's weekly sketch for the card. The base is Bamboo CS. I also used Orange CS and Clover Meadow. The image is stamped on PTI Stamper's Select White and colored with Copics. Speaking of Copics, have you entered to WIN 12 FREE COPICS? Do so in the post above although I'm sure you saw it before you did this one!

•UnIty ChAlLeNgE WeDnEsDaY # 10

Happy Hump Day everyone!
Sorry I'm so late on this post. I've had a crazy morning/afternoon! Hope everyone is having a great day.

So this Wednesday's Unity challenge is to do a card with a "HOPE" theme. We had to use ribbon, lots of pink, and something that starts with the letter ~m~ for mammogram. Also, Unity is sponsoring Card Positioning System's (CPS) sketch this week, so I used that sketch. For this card I used Unity's Floral Fantastical set. Isn't this butterfly so pretty? I like it a lot. I used Copics to color the butterfly and I stamped it in Archival Black onto PTI Stamper's Select White CS. I keep forgetting the name of the green CS I used and for the base I used PTI Stamper's Select again and ran it through my Divine Swirls CB Embossing Folder. The ribbon is from Pebbles Inc. Now you may be wondering where the ~m~ part is. Well....teehee....I used Tombow's Mono Multi adhesive! Do you think that counts? :D Probably not, but I couldn't come up with anything! Well have a great rest of your Wednesday and THANK YOU all for the warm birthday wishes. It means so much!

So for this card I busted out the Cupcakes A'La Yummy set. Isn't it soooo yummilicious? I colored the images w/ me Copics and stamped them on PTI Stamper's Select White CS. The other CS used is Clover Meadow and Orange. I used K&Co. Glitter DP for the bases of the images and ran them through my nesties. The ribbon you see if from Pebbles Inc. So there you have it!

Ok...I know I'm late on this, but yesterday was Hip-Hop Thursday! For once, I completed both of the challenges that were given! The first challenge was to do a KID CARD. Here is mine-----
Ok..so it's not the best.....I don't know why, but on Thursdays I lose all my mojo. I think it's just the excitement of Hip-Hop! For this card I used PTI Stamper's Select White for the base and to stamp the image from Unity's Diva-Lish set. I don't know if you can tell, but I also added some Martha Steward glitter (love this stuff) to her tiara. I ran the base through my Divine Swirls Embossing Folder. I also used Watermelon and Black CS. I used Copics to color the little diva and I stamped the image and sentiment in Archival Black! That just reminded me I need to order some different ink! I use CTMH Archival Black and it works good, just not with Copics. Oh! Like my little additions I added into the picture? TeeHee....it's silly, I know.

So the next challenge was to do a card and use flowers. I immediately knew I was going to use Unity's Floral Fantastical set for this one! It was one of my first sets and YESTERDAY was my first time to ink it up! Can you believe that?! So for this card I used Hydrangea, Watermelon, Ocean, and PTI Stamper's Select White CS and also some DP from the Whoops-a-Daisy Collection. I ran the base through my Bloomin' Dots Embossing Folder and I colored the image with my Copics! I added some Primas and Pebbles Inc. Ribbon to finish the card off!

So that is all for right now...I will return later with some Bellas...I have been slacking heavily in the Bella department, so I need to figure somethin' out! :D Have a great Friday!

Happy Monday, everyone!
Usually, I hate Mondays, but today has surprisingly been pretty good! I am soooo enjoying the cold weather and the snow. I know, most people think I am crazy, but what can I say? I've grown up around it!

For you, today, I have a card that I made in a jiffy. I used Unity Stamp Co. Just Be -Single and colored it in with Chocolate Chip Ink from SU! I stamped it onto Crate Paper DP. I forgot what the name of the collection is. For the strips I used Bamboo CS for the base then cut out strips from the same Crate Paper collection and ran them through my Cuttlebug, using the Divine Swirls embossing folder. You can't tell, but the 1st and last strips are raised with foam dots from SU! (what are they called?) The base of the card is Chocolate Chip CS and the ribbon that is ran through is Pebbles Inc. So that is all for you today. Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their Monday.

• HiP-hOp!

HAPPY HIP-HOP THURSDAY! I love HIP-HOPPING! If you don't know what I'm talking about...you need to go to the Unity forum on SCS right away! It is soo much fun! They give away hundreds of dollars in prizes!!!!

So, yesterday was Unity Challenge Wednesday. I made this card for the challenge. The challenge was to do a non-standard card (4 1/4"x5 1/2"). So, as you can see, I made a square card. Never done a square card before, and it was so much fun! LOVE what I did with the COPICS? I am getting to know my COPICS pretty well and I have to say....they are UH-MAZING! The stamp I used is from Unity's Sept. Kit of the Month...don't you {HEART} it?!?! I do! :D
And this card is for a Hip-Hop challenge. The challenge is to use sewing on your card. This is the first card I've stitched and I am okay w/ how it turned out! Not sure about stitching yet......and AGAIN.....I used my wonderful, amazing, genius COPICS!
Hip-Hop! Back to chatting....................

• TaYlOrEd ExPrEsSiOnS CuPcAkE cHaLlEnGe #36

This was my first ever cupcake challenge to participate in. I don't know why I haven't before, but I just decided you gotta start somewhere! So for this card I used The Cat's Pajamas' Smells Like Cake set. I think these penguins are soooo cute! :D And now I have Nestabilities, so my cards are going to be 1,000 times better looking! So that is it for right now. Stay tuned for more TCP, since it's TCP Tuesday! Oh! I have more Copics coming!!!! They should be here this morning!!!

•I'm BaCk!

I didn't go anywhere! I just haven't posted in foreva! But that doesn't mean I haven't been doing something w/ my life! I'm going to be posting A LOT on this post so hold on to your britches and roll w/me!

These are my calendar pags I made for the Bella Calendar Swap! It was so much fun! I used all Bazzill papers except for the K&Co. Berry Sweet Glitter DP! I used my Cricut to cut out the hearts and for the lettering. I have to say. My Cricut and I are getting extremely close!

This is what came in the mail for me the other day! It is from my Bella Sistah, LeAnne! Isn't she amazing!

This is the card I made for the SBS #21 Weekly Challenge! The challenge was paper piecing. I used the MFT Rain or Shine Stamp Set and paper pieced her raincoat! I used CTMH Sweet Pea DP along with Bamboo, Amethyst, Key Lime, and Sunkiss Yellow CS! The ribbon is from Pebbles Inc. and the image is stamped in CTMH Archival Black.

Here is the card I did for the Bella Sketch Challenge #45. I used Imeldabella and colored her w/copics! Yes! I finally broke down and bought some! The sentiment is from the Billboardabella set. I used the Magic Moments B&T and Hollyhock CS for the base.

Speaking of copics.........
Here they are! This is my first set! I have to say...I don't really know how to use them that well, but they do work great! I decided to lay low on some of my stamp ordering and once a month I am going to order around $50 in Copics! That way, I can get my collection going and start doing more things (i.e.shading) with them! So if you have any copic advice for me I would {heart} it..and you, of course!

Yay for me! I FINALLY finished these pages! I have been so hooked on stamping that I haven't done any scrapbooking! I finally decided I needed to finish this.....I started probably 2 months ago! Teehee! So for these pages I used the Rough and Tumble Paper Packet along with some Sunny Yellow and Clover Meadow CS. I used my Cricut to cut all the lettering out and I used a little rub-on that Jena gave me in the middle. I think that was a mistake, but there's not too much I can do about it now. Oh! I forgot my journaling! I guess I am not done with it! :D

Ok...now for some stuff I am SUPER excited about! Recently, I started browsing (and shopping :D) at Unity Stamp Co.! I bought 2 sets from Unity a couple of months ago...and haven't touched them! Well....I was looking around on their website and realized that there's A LOT of things that I like! So I bought a few and went on my merry way! While I was looking around on SCS one day, I saw that Unity has a Wednesday Challenge. I decided that this would be fun to do. So here is my Unity Challenge Wednesday card.

The challenge was to use pink and black. As you can see, I did this card a bit differently. I used the Grow Stamp Kit and I put my sentiment on the outside and my image on the inside. I used Black CS for my base and ran it through my Cuttlebug, using the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder. For the "background" I used a piece of Pink Carnation CS and layered a piece of Black CS in the middle, then ran that through my Cuttlebug as well. On the inside I stamped the image on Pink Carnation CS and adhered (word?) it to the top of the inside(?) Both images are stamped in Archival Black.....which reminds me...I need to get Brilliance Graphite Black for when I really start using my Copics!

I got some great feedback from all the Unity peeps! Which sends me to my next story! I've always read on some people's blogs about HIP-HOP THURSDAY. Well...I never really knew what anybody was talking about, so I decided to see what it was like! So, yesterday, I spent pretty much my whole day on the computer talking to all the great Unity people. I have to say...I am now ADDICTED! I had so much fun! Angela is running such a PHENOMENAL business! She was there, her DT was there, her HUSBAND was there! There was a blog hop, prizes were given away, challenges were done! There was so much going on! So all the details are HERE! You really need to check it out if you haven't! So that brings me to my final card. This challenge was to make a card inspired by the Unity tag.

My card Unity tag

So for my card I used Breeze CS and Chocolate Chip CS. I used the Creating Yourself Single and colored it with Chocolate Chip ink then stamped it on Papertrey Ink White CS. I used my small slot punch and ran Pebbles Inc. ribbon through. So the card is pretty simple, but I think it works!

So that is all for right now! I'm sorry I've been such a bad blogger. I always think I am going to slow down and just when I say that, my life picks up again!

I also wanted to say that all the Ike vics are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope everything came out as good as can be expected!

Stay tuned! I am going to try to post everyday, so it doens't take me 500 hours to do one post!

~Peace, Love, and Happy Stamping! :D

•RiLeY sWaP!

So...
These are the cards I made for a Riley swap. The colors, I don't really use...ok...I've never used them, but I think they turned out great together! For these cards I used Riley in the tent..I'm not quite sure of the actualal name of the stamp, but I'm sure most of you have come upon these, somewhere! The ribbon is from, my favorite, Pebbles Inc. I took the picture with 3 of the card to show the different ribbons I used! :D Aren't they great?! :D

So this is one of ribbons I used. As you can see I used Really Rust and Chocolate Chip CS. I used White CS from Papertrey Ink.

Here's one with another ribbon. :D It's kind of hard to tell, but I chalked the background of the image w/ blue, green and brown.

This is the last patterned ribbon I used. I also used the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder with my Cuttlebug and I distressed the edges of everything with my distressing tool and wha-la! There it is!

So that is that for my swap cards! I have a couple of other swaps I am working on including a Bella Calendar Swap and a 6x6 Scrapbook page swap! They are both fun swaps to work on. In fact, the scrapbook page swap has one spot open still! The details of the swap are here, so go check it out, if you are interested! Have a great Wednesday! :D

• Just For Her

So....
I made this card for a lady in my SU! Yahoo Group. It's actually for her daughter, who has a few disorders. Here is her message:

This is to my real family and all my stamping group families. I am seeking everyone's love, support, and kindness. My 14 year old daughter, Anna, is having some problems, so severe that they have placed her in a hospital. She will be there for 7-14 days. She can receive mail and I am asking that everyone shower her with cards of encouragement, thinking of her, to lift her spirits. She is bi-polar, ADHD, oppositional defiant, aspbergers, sensory integration disorder, intermittent explosive disorder, and some other learning disabilities. She is a very difficult child but I love her so much. My family who is reading this is probably thinking that I am the one in need of prayers and cards but it is her I am thinking of and would love help in sending some sunshine into her day. She had a major episode on Friday and she had to be taken to a maximum security facility for juveniles. A little blue cell until they decided what to do with her, we want her home, she is NOT a juvenile delinquent, she is just a young woman with lots of problems. So, while she is away, I wanted her to be showered with love and kindness, so if you could help me in doing that by sending her a card I would appreciate it so much. I have not ever asked for a special request before but have and continue to send many cards out for anyone who has a special need. The card will have to be sent out in the next day or two to assure that she gets it. The address of where she is :
Lakeland Regional Hospital
Anna Glaser - 4 South
440 South. Market
Springfield, MO 65806

Thank you all so much for your support and help and sending her sunshine. Any prayers you want to offer up would be appreciated also. We need all of them we can get also!!

Tammy Glaser

So today, I am sending this card out to her! As soon as I read this message I thought of Gardenia Gardenthumb. I used Bubblegum, Sunny Yellow, and Breeze CS. In the image, I used those colors and Olive, for the pot and the leaves. I also used soft chalks in the background of the image. Last I used my Bloom Dots Cuttlebug Embossing Folder for the base. And don't forget about my favorite ribbon ever from Pebbles Inc.! You seriously have to get some! So that is that for that card. Now I am off to work on a SBS 21 sketch and my Riley Swap! Hope you have a great day.

• BeLlA sKeTcH cHaLlEnGe #43

So....
This is my card for the Bella Sketch Challenge #43 in the Bella Forum at SCS! If you haven't been there, go check it out! For this card I used partygirlbella. Isn't she so cute? I used Holiday Red, Sunny Yellow, and Clover Meadow CS and Markers. I used the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug Embossing Folder on the red part and, once again, that delicious yellow polka~dotted ribbon is from Pebbles Inc. So that is all for now. Hope you all enjoy your day!

• CaTcHiNg Up!

So....
I finally found my cartridge for my camera! Yay! I
almost thought I was going to die! So now I get to post! Since there are 4 Bella challenges that I haven't posted I am just going to post them all on one post! (I'm sure you could have figured that out!) :D

This is Bella Sketch Challenge #39 in the Bella Forum at SCS. I used Winobella and the sentiment from Billboardabella. My card base is Papertrey Ink White CS. Then I used Vineyard Berry CS and the Divine Swirls Cuttlebug Embossing Folder. I used Old Olive DP and White Daisy Brads for the middle part. So there is that!

This is the next sketch challenge, Bella Sketch Challenge #40. I used Buttercup and Petal CS and Paper Garden B&T. The stamp is Bridalpartybellas and the sentiment is from the Billboardabella stamp set. I used Autumn Daisy Just Blooms and White Daisy brads, too!

Here is the card I did for Bella Sketch Challenge #41 in the Bella Forum at SCS. I had so much fun doing this card #1, because it was a fun sketch and #2 because I was making it for my friend Jena, who is expecting a baby in February? I used Kiwi CS and Sweet Pea B&T. I also used Papertrey Ink White CS and my brand spankin' new Swiss Dots Cuttlebug Embossing Folder! The stamp is Teddybella and I used the Whimsy Caps Stamp set for the letter ~J~ for Jena! Jena has 3 girls, already, so I was trying to go a little boy~ish for her on this one! :D Now that I look at it, the only "boy~ish~ thing is the Heavenly Blue saftey pin from my My Accents Accessory Kit.

And, finally, here is my card for the Bella Sketch Challenge #42. This sketch was very important to me because I CAME UP WITH THE SKETCH! Yes, I am very proud of myself! :D You will have to excuse my thumb in the picture as I forgot to crop the image. :D I'm just glad my nail looks good! :D

For this card I used Frizzybella and the sentiment is from my Happiness stamp set. I used the Divine Swirls EF w/ my Cuttlebug for the background and I used the Swiss Dots EF for the orange part! (see it?) And look at that delish ribbon! That is ribbon from Pebbles Inc. Have you shopped there? If you haven't, I suggest on heading that way because they have some fab stuff! :D

So that is it for this post! I hope you all liked the cards. Keep coming back as I will be posting A LOT more! You might even get to see some scrapping getting done! :D

• HeY rIlEy!

So...
Here is a little Riley card I made this morning. Isn't he the cutest! I used SU! Cameo Coral CS for my background and drug it through my Cuttlebug with the Spots and Dots Embossing Folder. Riley is matted on a piece of DP Old Olive. The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Co. Cupcakes A'La Yummy Stamp Set. I used Stampin' Write Markers to color. I used Old Olive on the chair and ottoman and also Cameo Coral for the trim on the ottoman, Chocolate Chip for his hooves, Close to Cocoa for his body and for the cupcake, and More Mustard for his antlers. I used CTMH Bubblegum to color the frosting on the cupcake and Holiday Red for the goodie on top! I also used Cameo Coral to color the cupcake wrapper! Then I used the 1 1/4" circle punch for the DP punched circle and the 1" circle punch for the sentiment! I tied it all up with CTMH brown Ric-Rac! That is it for now...hopefully I will get some more done today!

• LiFe'S a JuNgLe!!!

So...
For this card, I got the idea of stamping on B&T from Kim. Go check it out on her blog!

Like Kim, I used the CTMH Life's a Jungle Stamp Set. I think this stamp set it so darn cute! :D I used my fabulous Cuttlebug and the Spots and Dots Embossing Folder for the background on Petal CS. Instead of rolling the embossing folder all the way through, I only went part of the way, then turned the folder around and went part of the way. I used Buttercup as the base of the card and there you go! My card is done! If you can't tell I also like to put a lot of dimension on my cards...once again I used 3-d foam squares to mount the cutsie animals!

•TwiNkLe FaIrY tHaNk YoU!

So...
I just got this twinkle fairy from Chichiboulie in the mail yesterday! I was so excited to use her and the sentiment from Stamping Bella! I used SU! Green Galore and Gable Green CS and CTMH White Daisy CS. I colored her in with the SU! Blender Pen and used Green Galore, Gable Green, Pixie Pink, and Only Orange. I used the D'Vine Swirls Cuttlebug Embossing Folder! Oh yeah! I forgot to tell you! I got a Cuttlebug! My first time using it was last night on this card! I love it already!
