• It's show time! :-)

FINALLY! I am back to my usual stamping addiction and blogging! Yesterday I finally got to put some ink on stamps and this morning I did again!

So here is the card I made yesterday. I used Unity's January Kit of the Month for the main image and the little postage looking dilly...and I used the distressed dots background stamp. Don't you just love Unity? I do! :)

Here is today's creation. I did this for the Unity Addicts Wednesday challenge. The challenge was to make a tiny love note using one image and bright and cheery colors. Ok...I actually used 2 stamps (worn grid & image from Jan. KOM), but you get the idea! :-)

Well that is it for today. Tomorrow is HIP HOP THURSDAY IN THE UNITY FORUM! The blog hop starts at 10 am Central! Angela always has some great specials posted around 11 am. So go to her blog to check it out tomorrow!

• Thank God it's Friday!

I am sooo ready for the weekend! Know what tomorrow is? It's the mini Virtual Stamp Night (VSN) on SCS! Guess who's a hostess????? Give up????? It's me! :D I get to host the first challenge of the day tomorrow, so come check it out! There are challenges and chat threads every hour until 11:00 PM EST. My challenge is at 12:00 noon EST, so come play with us! It's going to be fun! :D

So yesterday I totally missed my posting for some reason? I don't know why? But I'm back on track, today!
So here is my page for Week 2 of the scripture challenge. The word was "kindness"...if you can't tell! :D I couldn't agree more with this verse. We are children of God. He loves us holy and dearly. Since He loves us soo much, why not act like we are His? Have compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience (something I desperately need to work on). All digi "stuff" is from Shabby Princess.

So these little dudes here are what I used for the Unity Addicts Wednesday Challenge and for Amber's sketch challenge. The Addicts challenge was to make a card, inside and out. This was a really good challenge for me because I don't usually do anything to the insides of my cards, so here is the inside.

Cute, huh? The stamps are from Unity's November Kit of the Month. Aren't they cute? I love these little birds!

So that is all I have for today. I don't remember if I told ya'll or not, but I started a Bible study blog. If you want to know what's it's about go here and check it out! Have a fabulous Friday! :D

•Growing in Unity•Day by Day•All Week Long•Day Three

Day tres, baby, yeah! *said in Austin Powers lingo* :D It's my 3rd day of Unity all week long! I'm having such a great time with this! Here is the card I made for today!
This card is inspired by the Unity's Challenge Wednesday. The challenge is an inspiration challenge. Here's the inspiration.

So I didn't really follow anything, other than I was inspired to use a butterfly. Isn't it so prettiful? It's from Unity's Growing in Unity set. So basically I just ran Red Bazzill CS through my Divine Swirls Cuttlebug embossing folder, but only on the top and bottom. Then I stamped the butterfly and the decoration behind it, with Archival Black ink. Then I glued that part to black CS. I added some ribbon that I got from my Bella sistah, LeAnne, and voila! It's done! Oh! I used the scalloped edge punch on the sides, too!

A couple of other things......ARE YOU COMING TO HIP HOP, TOMORROW? Hip Hop, in case you don't know, is the biggest event of the week! It takes place in the Unity forum on SCS and starts at 10:00 a.m. Central Time and goes until MIDNIGHT! Unity gives away over $300 worth of prizes! It is such a blast! There's a blog hop that starts at Angela's blog at 10:00 a.m. and tons and tons of fun! PLUS, if you are a BRAND NEW customer and order $25 or more, tomorrow, you get a Growing in Unity Tree stamp! Here's an example of what the stamp looks like! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!?! Angela is amazing!

ETA: I forgot to tell you.....I GET TO GIVE AWAY A FREE SINGLE TOMORROW AT HIP HOP TO SOMEONE THAT HAS BEEN COMMENTING ON MY "GROWING IN UNITY" POSTS! BE SURE TO STOP BY TO SEE IF IT'S YOU!

Speaking of Angela and her blog.....be sure to check her blog out each week. She added an icon in the top left corner, showing the person that is showing Unity all week long on their blog.

So I hope everyone is having a GREAT Wednesday! Be sure to check back tomorrow for Day four and some HIP HOP creations.

**DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE COPIC GIVE AWAY! COMMENT ABOVE BY NOON (MDT) FRIDAY****

Happy Hump Day everyone!
Sorry I'm so late on this post. I've had a crazy morning/afternoon! Hope everyone is having a great day.

So this Wednesday's Unity challenge is to do a card with a "HOPE" theme. We had to use ribbon, lots of pink, and something that starts with the letter ~m~ for mammogram. Also, Unity is sponsoring Card Positioning System's (CPS) sketch this week, so I used that sketch. For this card I used Unity's Floral Fantastical set. Isn't this butterfly so pretty? I like it a lot. I used Copics to color the butterfly and I stamped it in Archival Black onto PTI Stamper's Select White CS. I keep forgetting the name of the green CS I used and for the base I used PTI Stamper's Select again and ran it through my Divine Swirls CB Embossing Folder. The ribbon is from Pebbles Inc. Now you may be wondering where the ~m~ part is. Well....teehee....I used Tombow's Mono Multi adhesive! Do you think that counts? :D Probably not, but I couldn't come up with anything! Well have a great rest of your Wednesday and THANK YOU all for the warm birthday wishes. It means so much!

• Unity Wednesday Challenge #8

Happy Hump Day! :D
Today is Unity's Wednesday challenge. I loooove Wednesday challenges. They get me all fired up for Hip-Hop Thursday! :D

The challenge this Wednesday is to make a masculine card. I know, mine isn't very masculine, but it's for a VERY special someone who is.... :D I don't really like how the card turned out, so I think I'm off to try and create another one before my DS wakes up from his nap! TFL!

• HiP-hOp!

HAPPY HIP-HOP THURSDAY! I love HIP-HOPPING! If you don't know what I'm talking about...you need to go to the Unity forum on SCS right away! It is soo much fun! They give away hundreds of dollars in prizes!!!!

So, yesterday was Unity Challenge Wednesday. I made this card for the challenge. The challenge was to do a non-standard card (4 1/4"x5 1/2"). So, as you can see, I made a square card. Never done a square card before, and it was so much fun! LOVE what I did with the COPICS? I am getting to know my COPICS pretty well and I have to say....they are UH-MAZING! The stamp I used is from Unity's Sept. Kit of the Month...don't you {HEART} it?!?! I do! :D
And this card is for a Hip-Hop challenge. The challenge is to use sewing on your card. This is the first card I've stitched and I am okay w/ how it turned out! Not sure about stitching yet......and AGAIN.....I used my wonderful, amazing, genius COPICS!
Hip-Hop! Back to chatting....................

•It'S aBoUt TiMe........

I updated this thing...........
I really have been stamping ( you will soon see)....I just haven't had much time to take pictures and upload and do a blog on everything....so hold on tight....it's another long post....I promise NOT to do this ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!

So this the card I made for Bella Sketch Challenge #46. At the time, I was feeling like poo, so I decided this would be a good image to use! One of my friends is actually sick this week, so I figured I could get some good use out of it. Oops! I just noticed the senty is a little crooked! Whops!

And this is a card I actually did for a Unity Wednesday Challenge, but I forgot to upload and submit it. Oops! I don't know where my brain has been. Isn't this a cool stamp. It is called Hullabaloo....There, obviously, are so many things you could probably do with this stamp, but I just decided to keep it simple! I just noticed I used a lot of embellies too! Hope it's not too much???

And here is another bella. Bella Sketch Challenge #47. I used Cosmobella for this one and cut the ovals out using my Cricut. I LOVE that machine! The scalloped oval you see behind the image is actually a regular oval cut out then I used my corner rounder to make it looked scalloped. I don't have the oval Nesties, yet, but I DID JUST GET MY FIRST SET OF NESTABILITIES and I {HEART} them so much!!! They are so much easier than using a corner rounder!!!!

THIS STINKIN' CARD took me FOREVER!!!! And I'm not too sure about the outcome. It didn't turn out how I had planned, but I think it will still do! I used the Spooky Nights stamp set from CTMH. I, first, stamped the house and the tree then colored them in with my COPICS which I {HEART} so much! Then I glued that to my card and cut out a piece of orange CS the same size as my card ( 4 1/4" x 5 1/2") I used my Cricut and cut the square out to make a frame. Then I used 3-D Foam Squares and placed the frame over the house. I ,then, stamped the pumpkin and the moon and glued them to the frame. I stamped the spider web and used Stickles (can you see it?) to sort of make the spider web "pop out." Last I stamped the Clear Stamps sentiment on the card and used Stickles on it as well.

Finally, here is a card I made for the Bella Sketch Challenge #48! I am LOVING the christmas {STAMPS}! Go check them out if you haven't already. http://www.stampingbella.com For this card I used Gifty tree and my favorite "just for you" sentiment. It's the only sentiment I have that fits in my circle punch, so I rolled with it. I don't really like the baubles on the sides, but I didn't have anything else to use.....that I could think of........I LOVE CHRISTMAS and am SO, mentally, ready for it!

•I'm BaCk!

I didn't go anywhere! I just haven't posted in foreva! But that doesn't mean I haven't been doing something w/ my life! I'm going to be posting A LOT on this post so hold on to your britches and roll w/me!

These are my calendar pags I made for the Bella Calendar Swap! It was so much fun! I used all Bazzill papers except for the K&Co. Berry Sweet Glitter DP! I used my Cricut to cut out the hearts and for the lettering. I have to say. My Cricut and I are getting extremely close!

This is what came in the mail for me the other day! It is from my Bella Sistah, LeAnne! Isn't she amazing!

This is the card I made for the SBS #21 Weekly Challenge! The challenge was paper piecing. I used the MFT Rain or Shine Stamp Set and paper pieced her raincoat! I used CTMH Sweet Pea DP along with Bamboo, Amethyst, Key Lime, and Sunkiss Yellow CS! The ribbon is from Pebbles Inc. and the image is stamped in CTMH Archival Black.

Here is the card I did for the Bella Sketch Challenge #45. I used Imeldabella and colored her w/copics! Yes! I finally broke down and bought some! The sentiment is from the Billboardabella set. I used the Magic Moments B&T and Hollyhock CS for the base.

Speaking of copics.........
Here they are! This is my first set! I have to say...I don't really know how to use them that well, but they do work great! I decided to lay low on some of my stamp ordering and once a month I am going to order around $50 in Copics! That way, I can get my collection going and start doing more things (i.e.shading) with them! So if you have any copic advice for me I would {heart} it..and you, of course!

Yay for me! I FINALLY finished these pages! I have been so hooked on stamping that I haven't done any scrapbooking! I finally decided I needed to finish this.....I started probably 2 months ago! Teehee! So for these pages I used the Rough and Tumble Paper Packet along with some Sunny Yellow and Clover Meadow CS. I used my Cricut to cut all the lettering out and I used a little rub-on that Jena gave me in the middle. I think that was a mistake, but there's not too much I can do about it now. Oh! I forgot my journaling! I guess I am not done with it! :D

Ok...now for some stuff I am SUPER excited about! Recently, I started browsing (and shopping :D) at Unity Stamp Co.! I bought 2 sets from Unity a couple of months ago...and haven't touched them! Well....I was looking around on their website and realized that there's A LOT of things that I like! So I bought a few and went on my merry way! While I was looking around on SCS one day, I saw that Unity has a Wednesday Challenge. I decided that this would be fun to do. So here is my Unity Challenge Wednesday card.

The challenge was to use pink and black. As you can see, I did this card a bit differently. I used the Grow Stamp Kit and I put my sentiment on the outside and my image on the inside. I used Black CS for my base and ran it through my Cuttlebug, using the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder. For the "background" I used a piece of Pink Carnation CS and layered a piece of Black CS in the middle, then ran that through my Cuttlebug as well. On the inside I stamped the image on Pink Carnation CS and adhered (word?) it to the top of the inside(?) Both images are stamped in Archival Black.....which reminds me...I need to get Brilliance Graphite Black for when I really start using my Copics!

I got some great feedback from all the Unity peeps! Which sends me to my next story! I've always read on some people's blogs about HIP-HOP THURSDAY. Well...I never really knew what anybody was talking about, so I decided to see what it was like! So, yesterday, I spent pretty much my whole day on the computer talking to all the great Unity people. I have to say...I am now ADDICTED! I had so much fun! Angela is running such a PHENOMENAL business! She was there, her DT was there, her HUSBAND was there! There was a blog hop, prizes were given away, challenges were done! There was so much going on! So all the details are HERE! You really need to check it out if you haven't! So that brings me to my final card. This challenge was to make a card inspired by the Unity tag.

My card Unity tag

So for my card I used Breeze CS and Chocolate Chip CS. I used the Creating Yourself Single and colored it with Chocolate Chip ink then stamped it on Papertrey Ink White CS. I used my small slot punch and ran Pebbles Inc. ribbon through. So the card is pretty simple, but I think it works!

So that is all for right now! I'm sorry I've been such a bad blogger. I always think I am going to slow down and just when I say that, my life picks up again!

I also wanted to say that all the Ike vics are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope everything came out as good as can be expected!

Stay tuned! I am going to try to post everyday, so it doens't take me 500 hours to do one post!

~Peace, Love, and Happy Stamping! :D
