Whew!

Hey there! It's me! Remember me? Probably NOT! I know I've been out for a while! I had a lot going on with taxes, Vegas trips, sick kid, sick self, etc. But I'm back!

First off, do you like my new blog look? I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE it! :) Veronica at VK Design Co. did it. Click on her blinkie and go put your name down to get a new one! She can really do pretty much anything!

2nd off, my trip to Vegas was AWESOME!.....other than the fact the Matt Kenseth lost his engine in like the 5th lap or something.....but fun was definitely had! I have pictures coming as soon as I figure out how to get them to download onto my computer! :)

And...YES...I do have some things to share. I was going to share these before I left, but couldn't find the time! These are the cards I made for February's VSN! Although I only got a few done, I still had tons of fun!

Happy Monday, everyone!
Usually, I hate Mondays, but today has surprisingly been pretty good! I am soooo enjoying the cold weather and the snow. I know, most people think I am crazy, but what can I say? I've grown up around it!

For you, today, I have a card that I made in a jiffy. I used Unity Stamp Co. Just Be -Single and colored it in with Chocolate Chip Ink from SU! I stamped it onto Crate Paper DP. I forgot what the name of the collection is. For the strips I used Bamboo CS for the base then cut out strips from the same Crate Paper collection and ran them through my Cuttlebug, using the Divine Swirls embossing folder. You can't tell, but the 1st and last strips are raised with foam dots from SU! (what are they called?) The base of the card is Chocolate Chip CS and the ribbon that is ran through is Pebbles Inc. So....
First off, sorry I haven't posted in a while. My life has been crazy. My sisterhood is now having weekly challenges and guess who moderates them??? ME! So LAST week was our first challenge and here it is!
For this card I used cupcakeabella. Isn't she so sweet? I used East Coast Prep DP and Tempting Turquoise CS. I also used clear baubles, but colored them with a red Sharpie! And, once again, the ribbon is from Pebbles Inc. The sentiment comes from Unity Stamp Co. So that is all for that challenge. Feel free to join in on the fun. So...
Here is a little Riley card I made this morning. Isn't he the cutest! I used SU! Cameo Coral CS for my background and drug it through my Cuttlebug with the Spots and Dots Embossing Folder. Riley is matted on a piece of DP Old Olive. The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Co. Cupcakes A'La Yummy Stamp Set. I used Stampin' Write Markers to color. I used Old Olive on the chair and ottoman and also Cameo Coral for the trim on the ottoman, Chocolate Chip for his hooves, Close to Cocoa for his body and for the cupcake, and More Mustard for his antlers. I used CTMH Bubblegum to color the frosting on the cupcake and Holiday Red for the goodie on top! I also used Cameo Coral to color the cupcake wrapper! Then I used the 1 1/4" circle punch for the DP punched circle and the 1" circle punch for the sentiment! I tied it all up with CTMH brown Ric-Rac! That is it for now...hopefully I will get some more done today!

I just got this twinkle fairy from Chichiboulie in the mail yesterday! I was so excited to use her and the sentiment from Stamping Bella! I used SU! Green Galore and Gable Green CS and CTMH White Daisy CS. I colored her in with the SU! Blender Pen and used Green Galore, Gable Green, Pixie Pink, and Only Orange. I used the D'Vine Swirls Cuttlebug Embossing Folder! Oh yeah! I forgot to tell you! I got a Cuttlebug! My first time using it was last night on this card! I love it already!

So....
This is my first SU! card! I had so much fun making this card! I used the Tiny Trio LO from the CTMH Card Confidence Program! It was so helpful! For the base I used SU! Brilliant Blue CS on top of that is a piece from the East Coast Prep paper packet! And I used Tempting Turquoise on the bottom part! I used the Happy Happy Birthday Stampin' Around and I used Versamark for the "ink." The stamp is SU! Big Bold Birthday. I used Brillilant Blue for the balloon and put a piece of CTMH yellow sassy strands on the bottom, Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, YoYo Yellow, and Glorious Green for the cupcake and candle. Finally, I used Only Orange and Green Galore for the present! Oh! And I used Stampin' Dimensions to make the stamps pop-up, but you can't really tell in the picture!
