I {{heart}} HaWaIi!

So...
I got some time to use my Dad's computer! I am having so much fun in Hawaii! Yesterday was our first full day! We went out to breakfast....then went ot the beach and did some body boarding! :D It was so fun! the waves were huge! Today we are hanging out at my dad's house...then we are going into Kapaa and going shopping...4:00...Luau!!!! I'm so excited to go to the luau tonight!!! I have taken a lot of pictures, but you have to download some stuff to the computer in order to put them on here, so I figured I will just do it when I get home! Then you can see the whole trip! I have to say, though, I miss my craft room! I hope you all are having a great week! Right now it is around 11:15...which means it is around 3:15 at my house! This time change is crazy! Anyway...hope you all are having fun! I will try to post later on in the week...if I don't...I will next week when I have time to download all of my pictures!!!!!

WAIT!!! I forgot to let you know...I am engaged! Kolby proposed on Friday night. He said he wasn't going to do it until we got to Kauai, but he got nervous about packing the ring in the luggage (what if it got lost?) and he knew he couldn't put it in our carry on...so he did it! Right in our house...when I was LEAST expecting it! So now I have a wedding to plan...I'm so excited!!!! I will post pictures of the ring later!

Here is my card I made for the Bella Sketch Challenge and Bella Color Challenge. The color challenge was to use Watermelon, Baby Pink, Grey Wool, and Grey Flannel. It was kind of difficult for me, but I did it! I used one of the images I got from Meli...remember the post? :D I'm not too sure about the Just Blooms...I may have to do something else! Ok...NOW....I'm off to get ready.....after I order some ribbon from Pebbles Inc. It's so yummy!

So...
This is the card I made for a Bella Swap in the SCS Bella Forum. I chose to use frizzybella. Isn't she so cute! :D I just made one card for now. I am going to do the rest when I get back from Hawaii! (Countdown....2 days!) I just knew if I didn't get an idea in my head I would be thinking about the whole trip! :D For the card I used my favorite CTMH paper packet ~ Whoops-a-Daisy! I love, love, love, this paper! I colored miss frizzybella in using Kiwi, for her shirt, Watermelon for her pants, and I used Taffy for her skin. I don't have a color specifically for the skin, so all I do is get my blender pen out and swipe it on the ink pad..then I color a little off on scrap paper, then color her skin! It's a long process, I know, but it works well! I used SU! Close to Cocoa for her hair. The sentiment is stamped in CTMH Archival Black and is from the You're Special Stamp Set! I love the whimsy look! I also embossed the sentiment and frizzybella's shoes, shirt, and pants! I took pictures, so you could (kind of) see! And like most of my cards, I used 3-D foam squares for some dimension! It is so hard for me NOT to use these in all of my cards! :D

Well that is it for now, I have to go finish getting packed for Hawaii!

So....
I did a swap for a lady that has a Chemo Angel (Yahoo Group). I mailed the cards off today, but forgot to take a picture of them! If I get one back in the swap I will post it! Bummer!

• HeY rIlEy!

So...
Here is a little Riley card I made this morning. Isn't he the cutest! I used SU! Cameo Coral CS for my background and drug it through my Cuttlebug with the Spots and Dots Embossing Folder. Riley is matted on a piece of DP Old Olive. The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Co. Cupcakes A'La Yummy Stamp Set. I used Stampin' Write Markers to color. I used Old Olive on the chair and ottoman and also Cameo Coral for the trim on the ottoman, Chocolate Chip for his hooves, Close to Cocoa for his body and for the cupcake, and More Mustard for his antlers. I used CTMH Bubblegum to color the frosting on the cupcake and Holiday Red for the goodie on top! I also used Cameo Coral to color the cupcake wrapper! Then I used the 1 1/4" circle punch for the DP punched circle and the 1" circle punch for the sentiment! I tied it all up with CTMH brown Ric-Rac! That is it for now...hopefully I will get some more done today!

This is my gorgeous little man. He was one of three ring bearers. I have to tell you this story about his tux. The Monday before the wedding, my sister called me and said she was picking up the tuxedos and his never got done! I freaked out! Since we are from a small town and a smaller state for that matter...there's not much to choose from. So I got on the internet and found a place that had same day shipping. I next day aired his tux, so the tux cost me $49 and the shipping was $55! When the package came I noticed it came clear from Florida!

And this is my sister and I with the groom, Jason. I think I had just embarassed him, so we were laughing....and I had my sunglasses on and didn't realize it...which brings up something else about the weekend...I lost those sunglasses....I am so sad about it....they were Versace.......

For this card, I got the idea of stamping on B&T from Kim. Go check it out on her blog!

Like Kim, I used the CTMH Life's a Jungle Stamp Set. I think this stamp set it so darn cute! :D I used my fabulous Cuttlebug and the Spots and Dots Embossing Folder for the background on Petal CS. Instead of rolling the embossing folder all the way through, I only went part of the way, then turned the folder around and went part of the way. I used Buttercup as the base of the card and there you go! My card is done! If you can't tell I also like to put a lot of dimension on my cards...once again I used 3-d foam squares to mount the cutsie animals!

So...
I finally got last weeks challenge done! I have been so busy and yesterday finally had some time to create something! I just got the Whoops-a-Daisy Level 2 Packet and I have to say I am loving it...along with the Happiness SS! I tried to give flowahbella some shoes, but I don't think I did it very well! Oh well! :D Enjoy!

I just got this twinkle fairy from Chichiboulie in the mail yesterday! I was so excited to use her and the sentiment from Stamping Bella! I used SU! Green Galore and Gable Green CS and CTMH White Daisy CS. I colored her in with the SU! Blender Pen and used Green Galore, Gable Green, Pixie Pink, and Only Orange. I used the D'Vine Swirls Cuttlebug Embossing Folder! Oh yeah! I forgot to tell you! I got a Cuttlebug! My first time using it was last night on this card! I love it already!

When I got home from a long weekend out of town this is what was waiting in the mail for me! I was so excited! This special package came from my Bella Sistah, Meli! I just wanted to let all you bloggers/stampers know...I have spent most of my morning....ok...ALL of my morning looking at Kim's tutorials on her blog. Let me tell you...they are AWESOME! There are so many great ideas on there that I am so excited to try. • MaRjOrIeS cOlOr ChAlLeNgE #25!

So...
This was my first color challenge ever doing! I don't have a whole lot of papers and colors yet, so it is hard for me to do the color challenges! But I managed for this one! Marjorie chose the colors Cranberry, Moonstruck, Lilac Mist, and White. She said you only have to use 3 of the colors, but I used them all...and then some! For this card I used the CTMH With Love stamp set. I think I've already said this before, but it is one of my favorites so far! :D I used Lilac Mist CS for my base, and since I didn't have Moonstruck CS, I used Outdoor Denim CS for the next layer. And the next layer is Cranberry CS, and of course, the last layer is White CS! For the "main" flower I used SU! Brilliant Blue. The two side flowers are Lovely Lilac and the stems are Green Galore. I used Real Red for the vase and the little tiddlies in the middle. I used Archival Black for the sentiment. The sentiment is also from the With Love SS. I also used 3-D Foam Squares for the main flower and the vase! Hope you enjoy! This is the first card I am actually completely happy with!

I just got my order from Unity Stamps in! I can't wait to start playing with those yummies. My Bellas, Rileys, and Chichibouile should be here soon!

• HaPpY cUpCaKe DaY!

So....
This is my first SU! card! I had so much fun making this card! I used the Tiny Trio LO from the CTMH Card Confidence Program! It was so helpful! For the base I used SU! Brilliant Blue CS on top of that is a piece from the East Coast Prep paper packet! And I used Tempting Turquoise on the bottom part! I used the Happy Happy Birthday Stampin' Around and I used Versamark for the "ink." The stamp is SU! Big Bold Birthday. I used Brillilant Blue for the balloon and put a piece of CTMH yellow sassy strands on the bottom, Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, YoYo Yellow, and Glorious Green for the cupcake and candle. Finally, I used Only Orange and Green Galore for the present! Oh! And I used Stampin' Dimensions to make the stamps pop-up, but you can't really tell in the picture!

So that is that for that card! Thank you all for the nice comments!

So....
For this card I used cuppacakeabella!I think she is my favorite so far! And the cupcake always looks so yum-o! I also used the "happy thoughts" sentiment that comes with billboardabella! I also used the CTMH Sweet Pea B&T and Baby Pink, Buttercup, and Breeze CS! Next to the plaid I have a little bit of White Daisy Ric Rac! I used all of the markers in the Spring Harmony collection to color and Holiday Red for the yummy on top! If you click on the picture and get a bigger look, I messed up with the blender pen on her face! I smeared a little, but that was the last of the coloring I had and I didn't want to do it again! And somehow I got ink on the white part in the corner and I tried to cover it up with white out. I got it covered up, but now the white out doesn't match the paper and I have a spot there! I'm such an amateur!
