Busy Bee, Busy Bee, Where Have I Been?

Hey all! I'm here (IRL) just not here. blogging. I haven't had any time to create anything and I'm not going to have much time in the next few months, therefore, I just want to let you all know, I'm going MIA for a while...on this blog. I did start a new blog..not crafty/creative...faith...my faith blog. I have the feeling it's going to be my only lifeline for the next few months.

If your wondering where I'm going, the answer is no where. :) I just have a lot going on, spiritually, mentally, physically... no, I'm not going crazy and no I'm not sick..just busy.....:) As some of you know, I'm going to real estate school and trying to finish that up as quick as possible, planning a wedding for October, helping my better half run a business (nothing large, just me and him), and being a mom AND wanting and trying to find a job until I finish my schooling...all during the same second of the every day....so it tends to get a little stressful at times.. :) which leads to my stamping/office desk being full of papers, invoices, bills, calculators, pens, calendars, etc. instead of the usual ink, stamps, cardstock, dp, glue, and embellies...the latter has been replaced :(

.......A MONTH LATER......

Yep! It's been exactly a month since my last post and for that, I apologize. My life got pretty hectic there for a while. Not saying, it's not going to stay that way with WEDDING PLANNING and other stuff going on for the summer! Yep, wedding planning! We set a date - October 3rd. It's going to be AMAZING!

So I do have some shtuff to show you. Just a few things I've done in the last month.

I was really into stamping and coloring right onto kraft cs. What do you think? Each card's image is from Unity Stamp Co.'s May Kit of the Month. Aren't they fab? :D They are all colored with Copics.

This LO didn't quite turn out the way I had wanted, but I think it still works. I did the background, using a stamp from Unity's Delectable Delights set. It took FOREVER to color. I get writer's cramp pretty easily, so I had to stop and take breaks often. :D

Well that is all for now, folks! :D I'm going to try to stamp and blog in the afternoon's each day. We'll see how it goes! Stay tuned!

Growing in Unity, Day by Day, All Week Long Day #1

I'm such a ditz! This was supposed to post this morning, but leave it up to Ramsey to screw it up! :)

Ok.

Hello again! It's my turn to post for Unity ALL WEEK LONG! I'm excited. I just love Unity. The company, the stamps, the actual word - LOVE THEM! :) And guess what?! We started this little everyday-posting-Unity adventure at the end of October and we have people signed up clear into THIS OCTOBER! That's a full year of Unity on the blogs! Isn't it amazing!

So...Unity just celebrated their 1st birthday on May 1st and had TONS of stuff for Unity addicts to participate in and win! It was so fun. So I never got a chance to post some of the things I created for the challenges, and some of them, I didn't want to post. Except this one. I really did like the turn out.

I did this for the Hip Hop challenge. The challenge was to create a one layer card. I am no good at these usually, but was actually surprised by the outcome. I also had a friend that asked me to make some birthday party invites for her little girl's birthday, so these were perfect! She asked me to leave the other side blank and she would write what she wanted on there, so it's just blank on back! My FAVORITE part - the stamp. It's from Cupcakes a'la Yummy and is my MOST FAVORITE STAMP SET EVER! I {heart} the heck outta it! :)

No, I'm not in Hawaii again, but I'm really wishing I was. I have been incredibly busy and stressed! Yipes! I hate getting this way, but I guess it happens, right?

So I have been doing a little stamping, but it's really nothing I'm too proud of, therefore, I'm not posting it. It is in my SCS gallery, but you have to find it, I'm to going to direct you there :). Seriously, it's not that great. :) So IF my life ever calms down, I swear I will do something worth posting! Actually, I have to as I am up again next week for blogging all week long using Unity! Yay! My favorite company in the whole wide world! Be sure to stop by next week! Speaking of Unity, have you seen May's Kit of the Month, yet? It is AMAZING! I love it! Fruit of the Spirit - Love

Hey all!

Sorry I haven't blogged in a while! Got kinda busy, but things are certainly slowing down for the time being. So here's a little LO I did for Scripture Scrappers Fruit of the Spirit lesson on LOVE - one of my favorite subjects! :) I think this was the first lesson, so I'm playing a little catch up! But here it is!

For this lesson, I chose the verse 1 John 4:12 - No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. How true is that?!? God loves each and every one of us, which gives us the ability to love as well, so when we love, God loves! Hallelujah!

The picture in the LO is one we took in Kauai last July. I believe we were on the shuttle going to the luau. How amazing it was! I'm pretty sure, Tryzmen was giving orders as it looks like he was saying something! :) Man I was tan, too! :)

Speaking of Scripture Scrappers - I am now on the team! Danielle asked me be a part of the team last week and I was thrilled! I am so excited for what is to come!
